Cultural Journeys

Our story

The Low Countries—Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg—are rich not only in names but in history, art, culture, and cuisine. There’s enough here for a lifetime of discovery, and we’re still finding new gems every day. A few favorites: the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem; Amsterdam’s Museum Our Lord in the Attic; the Cathedrals of Our Lady in Antwerp and Mechelen; Brussels’ tradition of gueuze beer (and Belgium’s wider beer culture); a chocolate workshop in Bruges; the WWII sites of Operation Market Garden around Arnhem; and the First World War memorials evoked by the poem “In Flanders Fields.” And there’s so much more—far beyond any list.

Dutch Cultural Journeys was founded on the belief that we can deliver better quality—and have more fun doing it. We’d love to explore it all with you.

” I was born and raised in the Netherlands, where bicycles are a way of life and history lives around every corner. I studied history at the University of Amsterdam and in Singapore, and I’ve spent over 15 years guiding visitors from around the world.
Whether we’re walking along 17th-century canals, sampling cheese at a market, or discussing Rembrandt’s techniques, I aim to make every tour feel personal, enriching, and memorable. My specialty is crafting private, in-depth experiences that go beyond the usual sightseeing.

I’d love to show you the Netherlands & the wider Benelux region through my eyes.
