I’m Ralph — Dutch historian, storyteller, and founder of Dutch Cultural Journeys. I started this company because I love meeting people, I love being being outside and showing travelers the deeper layers of the Netherlands, Belgium & Luxembourg – the Benelux. My approach is simple:

Why I Do This

As a kid, every Saturday meant a warm stroopwafel from the market and I vividly remember the first bite of a Dutch herring — small cultural and culinary rituals that taught me how culture lives in stories, smells, people, and traditions. That’s still how I guide today. My goal is to take you from curious to fulfilled, from “we’ve seen Amsterdam” to “we finally understand it and to make your visit to the Benelux as smooth, fun, easy & memorable as possible.
